Hunter
& Bobit Migrates to Windows
Hunter & Bobit, one of Harness Technology's oldest clients, has been through
several Netware migrations since we built their original network in 1995. Back
then WordPerfect was the word processor of choice and Netware still had the market
share for network operating systems. Times have changed and when the law
firm's server started to show its age a move to a new Windows 2003 server was
the
obvious
choice.
The transition was done on a Friday afternoon with minimal impact on users.

Complete System Upgrade at NASPE
NASPE/Heart Rhythm Society has its big annual conference in May. You might
expect that upgrading their network servers the month before would be something
they would embrace. We'd like to think it indicates confidence in Harness Technology
that NASPE would entrust this project to us during their busiest season. The
migration from Windows NT and Exchange 5.5 to Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003
was completed on time and under budget.

Xelerated Moves to West Concord
Xelerated, a technology firm headquartered in Sweden asked Harness Technology
to help set up it's US Office in Burlington, MA in 2002. Recently they opted
to move to West Concord on short notice. Harness Technology was there to help
with all aspects of the network move.

K&J/Craffey Companies combine move with upgrade
In March 2004, K&J Interiors (aka Craffey Companies) combined
its move from temporary to it's new building in Plymouth, MA with a significant
network upgrade. The project included migrating from Exchange 5.5 to 2003,
re-assigning server roles, and upgrading from NT to Windows 2003. Harness
Technology put a 5-member team on the job and completed 90% of the work in
just a few days.
